Power Lane’s EV Charging Service is designed to save you the hassle of searching for a DC fast charger and sitting through a charging session. When you need a charged battery but don’t have enough time to do it yourself, we’ll take the time that you can’t afford to invest so that your EV will be ready to go when you are.
Client authorizes Power Lane and its direct representatives to transport Client’s vehicle to the nearest charging station allowing the fastest return of Client’s vehicle. Power Lane may need to stop at and skip 1 or 2 stations if there are lines, inoperative equipment etc. This is usually only needed in extreme situations.
Turn-around time should be within 2-4 hours of picking up your EV, depending on traffic, lines, account setup etc. Power Lane will give Client live location access via app, WhatsApp, Glympse or location provided by the vehicle itself.
Before leaving with Client’s car, the Power Lane representative will inform Client which charging station he/she intends to take the vehicle to and will take notes on the car information, especially the original battery level and desired return battery level.
Power Lane will return the car with at least 85% battery If Client requests a full charge, Client is aware that Power Lane will aim for 95% battery level with a minimum of 90%. Client is aware that depending on the power of the charging station, actual charging time may be over 1 hour and Client may have to pay more for this time.
Power Lane representatives may have to adjust your seats, mirrors etc. for safety. If possible, we may enable the guest profile for your vehicle. Please set your own profile so that you can be comfortable when you sit down in your vehicle again.
Power Lane will take reasonable efforts to leave Client’s vehicle interior as it was found. Using paper floor mats, cleaning wipes, etc. If Client wants car washed, an additional charge of $20 plus the cost of car wash is required.

30 minutes extra: $20 (If time at charger surpasses 60 minutes)
Extra 10 miles: $20 (Our standard service area is JFK airport and 30 miles away)
